My wife and I know how frustrating it can be to not get the results you desperately want.

In another example, let’s say the company does something unethical, and you disassociate from the company.

You have gone out of business.

Why is that you might ask?

Because you have unnecessarily tied that company’s brand to your business.

Remember, people transact business with those with whom they have formed a connection, not because they are with Company ABC selling product XYZ.

Brand Yourself Like a Pro: Tip #1 – Get Others to Know, Like, & Trust You

This tip is the most vital to remember.

Since your business is ultimately centered around you, allowing others to see who you really are is key.

The best way to accomplish that is thru video.

Video gives you the opportunity to share with others who you really are and what you stand for in life.

It also is an avenue for you to provide value by sharing business tips and content with others.

Video is a fantastic tool for you to show others your true self.

By doing so, you will naturally attract those who come to know, like, and trust you.

Tip #2 – Be Congruent

Have you created a tag line and social media banner for your business?

If so, make certain you use these same social media components on all your sites.

That way, when someone navigates from your Facebook Fan Page to your blog website, he or she knows that he or she has landed on the correct site.

Also, try to use the same photo of yourself on all your social sites as well.

Tip #3 – Identify Your Niche

Since it’s important for folks to know you, it’s likewise vital that you know the type of individuals with whom you want to conduct business.

Like two sides of a coin, there should be a synergy between you and your customer that goes beyond a sales transaction.

In short, what does your best customer look like?

Once you’ve identified that customer’s personality, lifestyle, desires, etc., then market yourself in a way that appeals to that niche.
